The Great Artiste is a shoegaze band formed in Nancy, France in 2011.  Their name comes from a bomber that took part in Nagasaki and Hiroshima missions. The noisy motors of the B29 and the massive apocalyptic explosions of its bombs inspire them asound analogy through explosive percussions, a consistent bass and sharpened guitar melodies.

 

Greta is the diminutive of the Great Artiste and its personification. She is an anti-heroin wherein personalities interlace to form the thing. 

 

After four years, The Great Artiste take a next step in 2016 by recording their first album and extending their tour to Europe.
